Lexoje app terms of use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply to the Lexoje app, provided by Lexoje.com (“we”). By using the app, you accept these terms and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.
1. The service
Lexoje lets you read the books published on lexoje.com in two reading modes, keep your own shelves, save places in books (Referencat) when you are allowed to, and receive notifications. The service is free, and we may change, suspend or end it, in whole or in part.
2. Your account
- give accurate information and keep it up to date;
- keep your password safe and do not share it;
- you are responsible for what is done with your account;
- an account belongs to one person;
- tell us at once if someone else has used your account.
3. Books and copyright
Books belong to their authors and owners. Each book’s sources and licences are noted on the book’s page and in “About the app” (for example, the Arabic text of the Quran comes from Tanzil, under the CC BY 3.0 licence, and is not modified).
You may read the books for personal use and share links or short quotations with their source. Copying, distributing, selling or republishing the content beyond what the book’s licence allows is not permitted. Copies kept on your phone are for offline reading inside the app.
4. Your content
Your private Referencat are yours. When you add content others can see, such as public Referencat or contributions as a member of a book’s team, you give us the right to store it and show it on lexoje.com and in the app. You confirm that you have the right to share that content. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
5. What is not allowed
- breaking the law or the rights of others;
- attempting unauthorised access to accounts, servers or data;
- overloading the service, downloading books in bulk with automated tools, or sending false install reports;
- decompiling or modifying the app to get around its limits;
- insulting or harassing others in messages or content.
6. Suspension and closing
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You may stop using the app at any time and ask for your account to be deleted, as the Privacy policy explains.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. We try to keep the texts accurate and the service available, but we do not guarantee that every text is free of errors or that the service will always be uninterrupted. Translations and commentaries belong to their sources.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using the app or from being unable to use it.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we update this page and the date above, and we announce important changes in the app or on the website. If you keep using the app after the changes, you accept the new terms.
10. Contact
Lexoje.com. For questions about these terms, write to us from “Support → Contact Lexoje.com” in the app or on the website lexoje.com.
